Thursday 6th of July was the second official Sentinel-2 acquisition for PLP2023, with the 6 HDPE tarp and wooden planks targets deployed at the permanent infrastructure in the Gulf of Gera. We will continue to collect Planet Super Dove and Sentinel-2 data with the current set-up until the end of July. The targets will be removed from the water for August, and will be re-deployed with a different set-up in September. Conditions today were good, with slight winds and partial clouds that should not affect the satellite acquisition.
