The 15th data acquisition for PLP2021 took place on Monday 30/08/2021. A number of 4L containers had been placed additionally the previous day, effectively keeping the mesh to surface level. Biofouling levels were in high stages and we decided to clean the mesh with sponges. The mesh was almost clean during the satellite acquisition. Very high resolution images were acquired using a DJI Phantom 4 pro RTK drone. Moreover, hyperspectral measurements were taken. Metadata collection included wind speed and direction, light intensity and turbidity using a Secchi disk empirical measurement. Conditions were optimal with low winds and a clear sky. Two sailing boats were moored close to the targets, one monohull and one catamaran.
