Today, an inspection of the targets was conducted in response to the higher intensity northern winds that were blowing. The inspection aimed to assess the condition and stability of all targets under these conditions. The wooden planks target was found to be in good condition, with no signs of damage or instability.

However, the HDPE mesh sheet, which is positioned upwind, was observed to be blowing up and out of the water due to the stronger winds. Despite this, the displacement did not appear to cause any major issues that would compromise the integrity or functionality of the target.

To address this, a stabilizing rope will be added tomorrow to enhance the stability of the HDPE mesh sheet under windy conditions. Additionally, a cleaning operation will be performed to remove biofouling accumulations on the HDPE mesh, ensuring its optimal performance and durability.

The proactive measures planned for tomorrow reflect our ongoing commitment to maintaining the high standards and effectiveness of our targets, even under challenging weather conditions. Overall, today’s inspection has provided valuable insights and will inform the necessary adjustments to be implemented.
