Today, we conducted repairs on the targets to ensure optimal performance. The HDPE mesh target was adjusted by moving it closer to the northern buoy. This change improved its orientation against the northern winds, reducing the upwind surface and preventing it from being blown out of the water.
We made several adjustments to the tethering of the HDPE target, further enhancing its stability in the prevailing winds. Additionally, we cleaned off biofouling accumulations from the HDPE target to maintain its effectiveness.
A connecting rope on the wooden planks target was also replaced. Overall, the targets are in good condition despite the harsh conditions, with wind gusts exceeding 15 m/sec under clear skies.
