Wednesday 16/06/2021 was scheduled for the second Sentinel 2 acquisition
for PLP2021. Weather conditions were unideal, with dense cloud cover and rain
not allowing for the acquisition of cloud free, high quality data. No UAS data
or in situ metadata were collected. Next acquisition is set for the
21/06/2021 were we plan to acquire data from both the HDPE mesh and the natural
debris target which will be deployed in the coming days. Additionally, 8 of the
12 targets constructed in PLP2020 in collaboration with the National Technical
University of Athens in the framework of the ESA funded REACT project, will
also be deployed on the 21st to acquire Sentinel 2 and PRISMA
hyperspectral data.
